Jammer is great for creating background music for songs. You give it a chord structure for instance I IV V, for 12 bars, and it will generate the base line, sax solos, tinkling bluesy piano, and organ etc. It's great for filling in, or making your songs sound bigger. You can use it with no musical knowledge, but it is even more powerful when you do understand the fundamentals of music. I then output the midi files and read them into Cakewalk, which I use for detailed editing. 3/28/2002 113
